ELIET CHOPPING PRINCIPLETM: LET THE WOOD DO THE WORK

Eliet Chopping Princilpe TMELIET has developed and patented its own chipping system called the 'Chopping Principle™'. The blades cut with the wood grain like little hatchets. The garden waste is rendered into small chips in a cycle of chopping and cutting. As a result, the chips will compost quickly.

The big advantage of this ELIET Chopping principle™ is just how little power is needed to chop the wood into chips. It's easier to cut wood with the grain, which is why the Chopping principle ™ does it this way. As a result ELIET shredders get better performances from limited engine power. Which means lower consumption and less noise. It also means that we can build ELIET shredders that are more compact and less heavy.

The blade system makes thousands of cuts per minute, also cutting up leafy and wet garden waste without a problem. That means that ELIET shredders can be used on just about any job.

ADVANTAGES OF THE ELIET CHOPPING PRINCIPLE™

- compact construction
- low consumption
- reduced noise emission
- low maintenance
- long service life
- suited for all kinds of green waste material
- results into fast composting, uniform chips

Eliet Neo

Eliet Neo ShredderThe Eliet Neo catches the eye due to its unique and aesthetic design that integrates a few world firsts. The Eliet Neo is the first chipper with a chipping chamber that you can look into and has, as the first in the market, a plastic composite chipping chamber. The machine is very useful and clean whilst in use due to its integrated collecting container supplied as standard.

Easy Maintenance: A large opening is made available to the chipping chamber by opening the transparent hatch and removing the unbreakable safety cover. The shaft that gradually becomes smaller ensures that you can easily gain access to the blades and can remove them from the machine for grinding.

Compact Design: The Eliet NEO has been designed to fold up in no time at all. The volume of the machine will be halved when collapsed, which is immensely practical in order to store it away. The wheel frame can, moreover, be used to hang it from, for example, a wall.

Feed-In Opening: The Neo has a low and comfortable feed-in height. The feed-in opening has been limited due to safety reasons. This opening was designed to ensure the least resistance possible when introducing material. The opening can be modified to introduce seriously split branches. The larger feed-in opening of the more powerful Neo³ is perfect for introducing larger quantities of soft and leafy green waste as well as bigger branches with lots of twigs attached.

Large Capacity: The aesthetically designed air openings were designed to provide the best possible air flow around the engine for maximum cooling. The user can, therefore, make use of the large capacity of this machine when chipping large volumes.

Transparent Chipping Chamber: The chipping chamber has been manufactured of highly technical plastic composite. This innovation allowed the designers to design a better chipping chamber with the best possible and fastest chipping flow. This material, moreover, is sound absorbing, which is beneficial with regard to the noise level of this chipper. Thanks to the transparent window the user can see the chipping chamber and follow the chipping process. This will ensure that he/she can prevent obstructions and can anticipate on when blades will be worn and need to be replaced.

Eliet Neo in actionPower Socket: The power socket is beautifully integrated into the design of the machine. The cover will keep the plug in its place and will, therefore, prevent the plug from being pulled out whilst working. The cover will automatically close when the plug is pulled out.

Large Wheels: The Neo has been equipped with strong aluminium 250 mm wheels with large tyres (65 mm). The ergonomic handle provides the user the best possible grip and, therefore, the user can move the chipper around his garden with a minimum of effort.

Collection Box: Why should we make things difficult for you when it comes to collecting chippings? NEO chippers come from the factory transparent collection box fitted. The plastic 50 litres capacity box slides easily under the machine and has been equipped with a magnetic safety switch. This makes it impossible for bystanders to open the collection box and injure themselves.

Calibrating Sieve: The high cutting speed and a calibrating sieve with a grid with correctly dimensioned holes guarantee the production of small and uniform chippings.

Low Noise: The engine of the Eliet Neo is surrounded by rubber vibration-absorbing sound barriers. This ensures that the blade vibrations are not distributed through the complete chipping chamber.

Eliet Maestro

Eliet Maestro ShredderThe Eliet Maestro offers excellent output and efficiency and a seemingly endless capacity.

The collection bag that comes as standard on the Eliet Maestro will catch every individual chipping and guarantees fast transportation of chippings to the compost container. Moreover, the Eliet Maestro is a compact machine that you can be manoeuvred without any effort into the smallest corner of your garden.

Robust Frame: Chipping wood is not a menial task. Here, a lot of power is unleashed inside the machine. A chipper only has a long operating life when no compromises are made in terms of quality and durability of the materials used. All of the Eliet chippers (small and large) are manufactured to the highest degree of craftsmanship. The Maestro is just one example of this. The steel shredding chamber is firmly welded to the tubular frame. The feed hopper of the Eliet Maestro has also been manufactured from steel.

Spacious Feed Hopper: The Maestro's feed hopper is a fast route to the blades. The operator will be amazed to find that he cannot feed the machine fast enough. Long openings underneath the feed hopper enable the operator to quickly check the content of the collection bag.

Low Noise: In the interests of the environment, Eliet always try to obtain harmony between the machine and its surroundings. The shredding chamber has a double wall in order to reduce the noise pollution from this chipper. The frame wall sound damping material dampens the drumming effect of the chippings on the wall. This action reduces the noise level by several dB.

Eliet Maestro in actionCollection Bag: The fine chippings that the Maestro spits out form the basis for what will later be nutritional compost. These chippings are immediately collected in a large collection bag so that not one single chipping is lost. The content of one full collection bag (125 litres) is more than enough to fill one wheelbarrow. The chippings do not always have to be deposited in the compost container. They can also be applied as a fertile mulch layer underneath the plantings at the borders of your garden.

Large Wheels: The 'footwear' of the Eliet Maestro is pneumatic tyres with a 25 cm diameter, which is extremely beneficial when transporting the machine down the lawn or on an unpaved surface. The load carrying capacity of the tyres is several times greater than the weight of the machine. The machine thus feels comfortable and is extremely stable during chipping. The vibrations from the chopping action are absorbed by the pneumatic tyres.

Eliet Minor 4S

Eliet minor ShredderThis machine is amazingly easy and pleasant to use. The Eliet Minor smoothly combines a wide hopper for various types of waste with compactness and ease of use.

The Eliet Minor smoothly combines a wide hopper for various types of waste with compactness and ease of use. Above all, waste is processed in an extremely safe manner. This is because the machine has a dedicated safety screen, a steel safety shield and a heavy-duty debris flap.

Robust Frame: Chipping is a real joy when you use a good machine. At Eliet, we do everything to ensure that you will derive this pleasure as long as possible. When you take your first look at the Eliet Minor, you will realize that this machine is designed to cope with rough handling. You do not have to have any concerns about the durability of the thick sheet steel frame.

Wide In-Feed: The black feed hopper guides the garden waste with wide branches into the chipper. Everything disappears behind the metal safety screen. Provided that the feed-in funnel does not become narrower, all branches continue to be fed in before being placed at the mercy of the blades.

Blade Shaft: If you remove the sieve screen from the machine, you will be confronted by the blade shaft with its twelve razor-sharp blades. The rotor with two bearing blocks is mounted in the shredding chamber. You will immediately note from the construction of this cutting device that this chipper will have no trouble at all in dealing with a lot of thick branches being fed in.

Safety: Children and small pets often are curious onlookers in the garden. The safety screen, however, keeps them away from potential danger.

Large Wheels: Large wheels are a true comfort, in particular, when the chipper needs to be driven over unpaved paths or uneven lawns. The machine virtually does not have to be lifted in the transportation position thanks to the excellent distribution of weight, which makes it extremely easy to drive the machine all the way down any garden.

Belt Drive: The blade shaft of the Minor has double bearings and is belt driven. This construction places the Minor in a class of its own in comparison with the smaller Eliet chippers. The separate rotor bearings enhance the durability of the chipper. Moreover, this construction is better equipped when it is subjected to heavy duty cycles. The transmission also absorbs the dynamic forces and increases the drive torque to be blade shaft.

Eliet Major 4S

Eliet Major shredderIts wide feed hopper (35 cm) greedily swallows large volumes of various waste types. Its large easy-roll wheels let you move it easily to every corner of your garden where you can safely process larger branches and rougher garden waste.

The Eliet Major is an appreciated tool by both the demanding private garden lover and the professional. This chipper is compact and light, which allows it to access the wood even when having to go through the smallest of rear gates. The wide feed-in opening offers great comfort when introducing tick branches with lots of twigs attached measuring up to 55mm.

Robust Frame: A professional machine must have the quality that is needed to match its purpose. That's why Eliet firmly decided to choose an all-welded frame that is manufactured from high quality steel plate and that is fully welded.

Wide Intake: Unlike its smaller brother (the Minor), the Eliet Major has a much wider feed-in opening. The integral guide funnel is useful for feeding several branches into the machine at the same time.

Eliet Major chipper shredderRazor-Sharp Blades: 20 razor-sharp blades chip all kinds of garden waste into nice chippings. Moreover, you can reverse the blades so that they last twice as long. The patented Eliet Chopping Principle™ ensures that the blades cut the wood in the fibre direction, which requires a lot less power than the chipping systems that are known everywhere. The blades also attain an utmost wide action field and, thus, guarantee that everything is chipped without fail before it leaves the crushing chamber.

Belt Drive: Everything on this professional machine is designed to have a long operating life. Eliet therefore decided to have the engine power transmitted via a belt transmission. When encountering obstacles, the impact of a sudden blockage is absorbed by the belt and not by the crankshaft of the engine. This prevents fatigue of the crankshaft that, in turn, extends the operating life of the engine.

Large Wheels: All Eliet chippers feature everything for easy manoeuvrability. The large wheels on the Eliet Major immediately attract your attention. During the work, the pneumatic tyres ensure that the vibrations are optimally absorbed, so that the machine is more stable.

Eliet Prof 5 & Prof 5 B

Eliet Prof 5BEliet introduces the Prof 5, the successor to the Prof 4, the entry-level model for the garden professional. The Prof 5 has numerous configuration possibilities which enable the garden contractor to configure the machine according to his specific needs and budget. In this way, one can opt for a model with or without a feed roller, with or without wheel drive. In addition, Eliet implements 2 new features.

Blow Chute: For the first time Eliet offers the possibility of installing a blow chute for the removal of chips. What is interesting about this blow chute is that Eliet integrated a genuine blower turbine into the design so that the machine has a powerful discharge system. In contrast to many other shredders on the market that have chip-discharge blowers, the Prof 5 can also handle damp natural trimmings very well and with hardly any danger of blockage of the turbine. By integrating a genuine blower turbine, the Prof 5 benefits from a suction effect through the feed hopper. This ensures that the feeding of leafy natural trimmings goes much more smoothly because the material is, as it were, sucked into the shredding chamber.

Feed Roller: The Prof 5 is also available with the option of a hydraulic feed roller. This significantly increases the output of the machine. You only have to feed the wood in, and then the machine conveys it inside by itself. The force with which this feed roller does its work leaves even the most twiggy branches no chance at all. Large volumes of leafy trimmings are also mercilessly fed to the blades. One can manually adjust the rotation of the feed roller (reverse - feed - stop). This operating governor is next to the feed-in opening and is thus always within reach as an emergency stop.

Eliet Prof 5BAbm System: The Eliet PROF 5 in the Blower version (B) has an additional option, namely an ABM system (Anti-Block Motor), also used in the Eliet Super Prof 2000. This ingenious system fully autonomously regulates the feed speed. A sensor meticulously controls every change in the revolutions of the engine. When the engine RPM suddenly slows, the ABM electronics will respond accordingly by briefly reducing the speed of the feed roller. While the machine shreds all the wood, regulating itself, you can simply continue to work without keeping an eye on the machine.

Impeller: Natural trimming chips are not discharged on the basis of the removal force of the blade system, but are carried away by the powerful airflow generated by the 330 mm blade turbine.

Feed-In Funnel: The PROF 5 is a full-blooded green waste processor. Garden contractors mainly have to deal with voluminous natural trimmings primarily from hedges, shrubs, bushes, plants ... thus the Prof 5 becomes their indispensable partner. By means of the wide feed-in opening (560 mm x 520 mm) with auxiliary feed, there is no problem feeding in large amounts of green waste. The feed-in funnel does not reduce further in size in the direction of the blade axis.

Stable Wheel Base: The Prof 5 is constructed from a strongly welded frame and rests on a couple of large tires. With a wheel base 780 mm wide, this shredder is extremely stable even if one temporarily deviates from the beaten tracks. The large swivel castor wheels enable the PROF 5 to easily navigate through narrow garden passageways. The machine is equipped with a parking brake for maximum safety while working and during transport.

Eliet Prof 5Engine Clutch: The Prof 5 B version is equipped with a blade clutch. The advantage of this is that one can start the engine in idle which is beneficial for the life span of the starter motor. Furthermore, the blower turbine can be turned off in this way in order to safely drive the shredder. The blade system is also blocked when the clutch is disengaged.

Eliet Resist™ Blades: The blades that are fitted to the Prof 5 are not ordinary steel blades. The Prof 5 is designed to operate at least 8 hours a day. The blades have been specially designed so that their blade life matches the workload and duty cycles. A special steel alloy and refined thermal treatment of the cutting edges have resulted in blade life being at least doubled. It is therefore only logical that these blades have been given the name Resist™.

Electric Starter: For the Prof 5 B, Eliet opted for a 14 HP Subaru Robin engine because of its favourable torque curve. This modern engine has OHC (Overhead Cams) technology which enables higher compression in the cylinder which translates into better performance. The camshaft is driven by a chain for very precise valve timing and again more stable functioning. The engine comes standard with an electric starter.

Wheel Drive: Your comfort was the priority that was top of our engineer's minds when they designed the wheel drive. You cannot simply move a shredder weighing 350 kg wherever you want. So the Prof 5 is also available self-propelled. Each of the two drive wheels is equipped with a powerful hydraulic motor. If you purchase the self-propelled version, then you will be able to navigate any rugged terrain or slope with the greatest of ease. The swivel caster wheels provide the necessary manoeuvrability for weaving between obstacles in gardens, parks and woods. A handlebar mounted lever allows you to change forward or reverse speeds with a simple flick of the wrist. The further you move the lever forwards or back, the faster the machine moves in the chosen direction.

ELIET PROF 5 B ON ROAD

Eliet Prof 5B trailedAlthough the concept of a self-propelling shredder, which allows you to get to the back of the garden and process the cutting waste on site, offers an ideal solution for many garden contractors, for another large group of gardeners this added flexibility does not imply added value because they have a different work area. Especially for this group, Eliet have developed a Prof 5 on a chassis for fast transportation purposes.

Eliet Super Prof 2000

The performance figures of the Eliet Super Prof are awesome - waste from eight hours of pruning is easily chipped in one hour - despite the fact that this 83 cm-wide piece of performance engineering is easily manoeuvred past all garden entrances and gates. Does it still need to be said ? The Eliet Super Prof offers the ultimate price-quality ratio.

Eliet Super Prof 2000Abm System (Anti-Block Motor): This ingenious system automatically controls material feed speed. A sensor carefully monitors each change in engine speed. In an engine overload condition, the ABM electronics will translate this into a command to temporarily inhibit in-feed roller rotation. Whenever there is a risk of overload, the ABM system will cut out wood feed until the engine has come up to full speed. Thus, no branch is capable of stopping the Eliet Super Prof from performing its work. Since the machine chips all of the wood without any operator intervention, you can continue to work without having to pay attention to the operation of the machine. So you attain maximum efficiency for an incredibly low consumption of 3.2 litres per hour.

Wheel Drive: Your comfort was the priority that was top of our engineer's minds when they designed the wheel drive. You cannot simply move a shredder weighing 350 kg wherever you want. So the Super Prof is also available self-propelled.

Robust Frame: This chipper has an operating life in excess of 2,000 hours. This can only be achieved by guaranteeing optimal quality and durability. A mere look at the welded steel frame of the Super Prof tells all: Then you will immediately understand what Eliet means by this.

Wide In-Feed: A large feed hopper is required to feed the 18hp engine. The feed-in opening has a small protuberance that acts as a feed table when feeding a bunch of branches into the hopper. The feed-in width (660 mm) only becomes slightly narrower (480 mm) to the chipping width. This prevents the wider branches from becoming jammed in the feed hopper. The steel safety screen protects the operator against flying chippings.

Hydraulic In-Feed Roller: This powerful 50-cm-wide in-feed roller boosts your efficiency to astronomical heights. All you need to do is feed in the wood; the machine itself draws in the wood at a speed of 24 metres per minute. The feeding power leaves even the widest branches no chance whatsoever. Large volumes of branches with a lot of side shoots are mercilessly drawn towards the knives. You can also manually change the direction of rotation of the in-feed roller (forward feed/reverse feed/stop). Going around the feed-in opening, this full wrap around handle is always within reach as an emergency stop.

Eliet Super Prof 2000 in actionReversible Blades: The Super Prof 2000 chips all garden waste with a maximum diameter of 12 cm into small pieces. The work is performed by a rotor with 24 razor-sharp blades. These steel blades can be sharpened. When one cutting edge is worn down, the blades can be reversed so that the second new cutting edge can be used.

Eliet RESIST™ Blades: The blades that are fitted to the Super Prof are not ordinary steel blades. The Super Prof is designed to operate at least 8 hours a day. The blades have been specially designed so that their blade life matches the workload and duty cycles. A special steel alloy and refined thermal treatment of the cutting edges have resulted in blade life being at least doubled. It is therefore only logical that these blades have been given the name Resist™.

Rubber Wall Lining: The rubber covering absorbs the drumming effect produced by the chips on the panels inside the chipping chamber. This ensures that the noise level of the chipper is significantly reduced and will limit noise pollution to the absolute minimum.

Quick-Closing Sieve Screen: Access can be easily gained to the blade shaft in order to perform necessary sharpening or maintenance work. After opening the quick release system, the calibrating sieve around the blade shaft can be easily folded down. The blade shaft is then fully exposed so that the blades can be sharpened without having to remove them from the machine.

Rear Net Flap: The chippings can often be processed in the garden, so that there is no need to remove them from your garden. In this case, you simply allow the chips to fall on the ground behind the machine. Eliet have invented an extendable flap in the safety net in order to ensure that the pile of chips is as large as possible before the machine is moved. This flap also retains any flying wood chippings that may be thrown up at the discharge.

Electric Start: Simply turn the key and you’re ready to process massive volumes. There is no simpler or quicker way of starting.

Well-Organised Instrument Panel: In addition to the start key, a number of new devices have been added to the instrument panel. You will see the standard maintenance counter that not only contains the standard hours run counter, but also a tachometer function and a maintenance alarm. The instrument panel also incorporates an oil level warning light, the ABM system and the choke and throttle controls. This means that the operator only has to monitor one location.

Swivel Caster Wheels: It must be easy to accurately steer this powerful wood chipper through well-kept gardens. The two castors instantly obey each steering command and ensure that the operator is able to position the machine where he wants it to be.

Parking Brake: The parking brake ensures that the machine remains stable during use. Above all, you can safely transport your pride and joy on your trailer. The parking brake also works as an emergency brake while driving down inclines.

ELIET SUPER PROF The mobile shredder reinvented

Eliet Super ProfELIET AXELERO™

For garden professionals the Super Prof has the reputation of being capable of processing almost any kind of green waste. Building on that reputation, Eliet developed the Axelero™ discharge system for the new generation Super Prof. The wood and green waste chips keep rotating in the chipping chamber until they are small enough to be discharged through the holes in the calibration sieve. They then fall into a second chamber, equipped with a special wheel that collects the chips along the width of the outlet and through a combination of air movement and high expulsion power, catapults
them out of the machine via the chute. . The low noise Axelero™ system is effective for any type of green waste, regardless of its humidity, and ensures that the Super Prof can be used throughout all of the four seasons.

FEED HOPPER

The feed opening was made wide on purpose, but without compromising on the machine’s compactness. The feed hopper has become considerably larger mainly at the top. This makes for a larger feeding plateau, allowing the operator to place the green waste quicker and have both hands free to manipulate the waste. The special shape of the hopper walls pushes the waste towards the 45 cm wide central bottom of the hopper. This flat bottom does not get any narrower towards the feed roller. The feed roller can lift up to 13 cm, which creates a huge infeed opening. This feature is highly appreciated by professionals when they are feeding branches with many twigs or voluminous cutting waste.

Eliet Super ProfINTELLIGENT MACHINE

All the features of the machine are grouped in a wellorganised dashboard at the front of the machine. The large LCD screen stands out at the centre between the ignition key and the choke valve. It is via the LCD screen that the Super Prof communicates with its operator. Besides showing useful machine features, it tells the operator when maintenance is due. Below the display is the machine’s most essential button: the ‘ACTION’ button. This electronic control of the electromagnetic coupling engages the blade system and the Axelero™ and ensures that the feed roller can be activated. At one push of the button, the shredder beast comes to life.

ECO EYE™ Eliet Eco Eye

The Super Prof can optionally be equipped with Eco Eye™ technology. While analysing the engine’s behavior, the electronic system can recognise whether or not the machine is shredding effectively. If that is not the case the Eco Eye™ system will automatically reduce the power to stationary. An infrared eye guards the feeding zone of the feed hopper. As soon as any motion is detected there the system increases the engine’s power back to full speed in less than a second to allow the operator to resume shredding at full speed.

EASY FEEDING

To ensure simple and intuitive control, the operating mechanism of the feed roller was separated clearly and visually. Push buttons within reach allow for selecting feed/reverse feed. Integrated LED lights in the button highlight the selection. One push of the emergency stop handle or one of the buttons will neutralise the selection and immediately stop the feed roller. This ultimate operating simplicity is a guaranteed time saver.

Eliet Ultra Prof

The priorities that were top of our designers' mind when they designing the Eliet Ultra Prof, were to develop a machine that caused as little hindrance to its immediate environment during use as possible. In addition to its excellent performance, this chipper is also environmentally friendly and above all, safe with regard to the immediate environments.

Eliet Ultra Prof 2000Discharge System: The discharge system is well integrated aesthetically into the striking design of the machine. A short and fast rotating discharge conveyor removes the wood chips that are leaving the chipping chamber. The chippings are, moreover, only projected out of the machine with a slight force so that the safety of any possible passer-by can be guaranteed. The discharge conveyor takes the waste chippings up to a height of a 120 cm which makes loading a wheel barrow or a trailer straightforward. The discharge system is very silent which means less overall noise radiation.

High Performance Engines: The Eliet series features a petrol engine for the Ultra Prof which delivers sensitive engine response and sharp acceleration. Two engine suppliers have been selected: B&S Vanguard and Honda. They supply a 22 HP or 24 HP engine respectively for this exceptional chipper. The beneficial features of the Eliet chipping system include that the power of these engines is exploited to full advantage giving fuel consumption as low as 2.5 litres/hour.

Wide Feed-In Opening: In order to exploit the extra engine power to the full, in feed speed should be adapted accordingly. To accomplish this, the in feed opening on Ultra Prof series chippers is as large as possible without compromising on compactness. The bottom of the feed hopper is flat which means that inserting either wood or bulk green waste becomes comfortable.

Speed Governor: A speed governor is standard with every Ultra Prof. This is a hydraulic valve that offers the option to the operator to set the maximum speed for feeding the material in manually for both the feed roller and the feed belt depending on the type of green waste. This ensures that you again have the option to get the highest performance from the chipper.

Hydraulic Feed Roller: The very back of the feed channel features a powerful feed roller conveying the green waste to the chipping knives in a controlled manner. Gas springs provide a uniform pressure on the feed roller to maintain constant grip on the branches. Hydraulically operated, the feed roller can rotate in both the clockwise and counter clockwise direction with an easy to operate control.

Resist Blades: The blades that do the work are made of a special steel alloy that has the aim of maximising blade life (200 hours with a set of blades is no exception). What is more, the blades are easy to sharpen. The splitting action of the chipping system will not require precision sharpening of the blades: A simple angle grinder will do the job nicely. The mounting arrangement and accessibility of the blades inside the machine allow sharpening without the need for removal. The blade edge is profiled. This toothing adds to the keenness of the blades to chop through the wood. Each blade has two reversible cutting edges; this means that the blades can be used to the full.

Hydraulic Wheel Drive: Mobile chippers: Eliet's credo for years. As a result, at Eliet we keep with the philosophy of driving the chipper to the green waste material and not the other way. In combination with the superfast chipping technology of the Ultra Prof, a time saving of 50% can be easily achieved. Wheel drive is hydraulic. Each wheel has a dedicated heavy-duty wheel motor. A straightforward to operate handlebar mounted rotary handle is used for controlling the oil supplied to the wheel motors. Steering is proportional: The more you turn the handle, the faster the machine moves in the chosen direction. As a result, you move this machine - quite heavy at 450 kg - freely within a garden with the greatest of ease. Also, driving the machine on and off a van or trailer is as easy as can be.

Eliet Ultra Prof 2000 in actionLow Ground Pressure: The total weight of the chipper is 450 kg. As the chipper is mobile it may well be manoeuvred on less stable ground. That is why we have kept ground bearing pressure as low as possible in order to prevent tyre sinkage or rut formation. Load distribution is as follows: Front axle load is 176 kg and rear axle load is 320 kg. Taking into account the tyre size, ground pressures are 0.9 kg/cm² and 0.8 kg/cm² respectively.

Double Wheels: A compact design was the starting point when designing the Ultra Prof. This is characterised by the narrow wheel base (90 cm). In addition, the centre of gravity was also kept as low possible in order to increase stability. The requirements, however, are even somewhat higher under certain extreme conditions. For this, Eliet offer an option for extending the supporting surface of the driving wheels. Suitable additional parts can be used to mount double wheels so that the wheel base is then 130 cm.

Abm System: With this electronic device you can make the most of your chipper. The system monitors the number of revolutions of the engine. When engine speed drops below a critical number of revolutions while chipping, material feed speed is reduced accordingly. This is in order to take the strain off the blade system for a short time, thus removing any undue strain upon the engine and allowing increasing speed to maximum revolutions. This action takes but a fraction of a second without the operator hardly noticing. The RPM curve of the engine when running can be kept rather flat within a given range, which cuts fuel consumption. Optimum combustion conditions will reduce engine wear.

Calibrating Sieve: The key factor for making good compost and waste chippings as decorative weed suppressant is uniformity in cuttings. This is the basic requirement for Eliet chippers for both wood waste and leafy green waste. To this effect, a calibrating sieve is fitted downstream the blade system. This calibrating sieve makes sure the chips remain in the chipping chamber until they are small enough to pass through the tiny holes of the sieve. The chippings are intensively bruised through subsequent multiple cutting actions, which gives them an ideal texture for the best possible composting. The chipping system provides, in other words, added value to the composting process.

Eco Eye System: At Eliet we want to go one step further in our efforts to build more environmentally friendly machines; this has led to the development of EcoEye™ Technology, a system that analyses engine behaviour. When the system notices that the machine is no longer being actively used, it will automatically switch the engine to idle. A machine-mounted infrared sensor detects the operator approaching the front of the feed hopper with green waste. At this point, the EcoEye™ system causes the engine to go from idle to full thus allowing the machine to cut the green waste material at full power. In short, EcoEye™ reduces fuel consumption and emissions when the engine is idling.

Maintenance Friendly: The main purpose in designing the Ultra Prof series chippers is to offer the user outstanding chipping performance. Even the service technician charged with maintaining the machine has not been overlooked. While an Ultra Prof series chipper is an example of compactness and safety, the machine gives easy access to each critical part when performing maintenance work. As with sports cars, the large polyester machine guards fold away like butterfly doors. With the guards tucked neatly away, the engine, belts, chains, filters, valves, bearings and lube points are made easily accessible. Likewise, it takes but 20 seconds to remove the discharge conveyor to provide access to the blades. The blade shaft is fitted to the perfect ergonomic height for ease in maintenance (in grinding, reversing, replacing). A display on the dashboard not only gives visual indication of the number of revolutions and the run time, but will tell when maintenance is due. The large petrol tank with a capacity of 20 litres, allows this machine to run for one workday without the need to refill the tank. There are many more small details that will make a big difference in maintaining and operating your Ultra Prof.

Eliet Lawncare

Scarifiers

The condition of the garden lawn is very often examined to the very last detail. For example, everyone dreams about having a golf course in their own back garden. A garden lawn thus requires the correct care. A lawn surface requires a high-density of grass plants per m2 in order to be fully covered. All parasites must also be periodically removed from the garden lawn so that each blade of grass has enough room to grow into a wide shrub. These parasites can, for example, be mosses, weeds, thatch and fungi. At ELIET we have been manufacturing Scarifiers for more than 20 years and have acquired a high degree of expertise in this field. Professional users of ELIET Scarifyers benefit from this expertise every day.

Eliet E401

Its working width makes the Eliet E401 ideal for small and medium-sized gardens. Its robust design prevents any wear. As is the case with all other dethatching machines, this one is also armed with a set of Eliet Permanently Sharp Blades™. Thanks to the infinitely variable height adjusters you can select height adjustment with great precision.

Eliet E401 ScarifierRobust Frame: Even though this E401 is the smallest dethatching machine in the Eliet range, it is capable of providing outstanding performance. The performance of this dethatching machine is often tested in many common applications, for example, when it is rented. Its robust construction is then also a guarantee for its durability. The blade shaft is located within a thick steel housing in order to protect bystanders from any flying chippings.

Fixed Blades: An Eliet dethatching machine with a dethatching width of 40 cm has a rotor that has 14 blades securely fitted. Each blade has two cutting edges so that the blade makes two raking motions for each revolution of the blade shaft. The blades are also mounted in a spiral pattern so that they do not all touch the ground at the same time in order to prevent grass sods from being torn loose. The Eliet E401 thus provides maximum efficiency with minimal damage to the lawn.

Large Wheels: The E401 comes fitted with 20 cm diameter wheels. Large wheels run more smoothly and are less affected by any unevenness in the terrain. The nylon rims are shock-resistant. Moreover, the roller bearings are able to withstand the sandy and dusty conditions that are encountered during dethatching.

Infinitely Variable Front Wheels: Height adjustment at the front wheels is infinitely variable. Since the height of each front wheel has to be separately adjusted, you are also sure that the blade shaft has the correct depth adjustment across the entire operating width.

Eliet E401 scarifier in actionRear Wheels Depth Adjustment: The rear wheels can be set to a number of different fixed positions. As a result of the dual adjustment capabilities, you can use the blades until they are completely worn.

Spacious Collection Bag: When you perform dethatching efficiently, you are also faced with a lot of cleaning up to do. Eliet help you in this respect by equipping the E401 with a collection bag. The wide opening ensures that the bag is optimally filled. The large 60 litre capacity of this collection bag is ample for the moss from several tens of metres. You are therefore spared from the burden of having to clear up the moss yourself.

Rubber Deflector: Even when you work without using a collection bag, the large volume of raked moss must quickly come from underneath the frame without exposing the operator to anything that is thrown up by the blades. The well-sized rubber deflector will catch all of the dust and sand that is thrown up.

Vertical Belt Tension: Problem-free operation was the point of departure for developing the vertical belt tension. Thanks to this system, the belt retains its natural shape even when it is operating. This virtually eliminates wear on the belt, thus significantly extending its operating life.

Fold-Down Handlebar: The handlebar is easily folded down. In this position, the Eliet E401 occupies little space in your garage, storage cupboard or the boot of your car.

Eliet E450

The E450 Shredder from Eliet is ideal for both professional and domestic customers.

Eliet E450 ShredderRobust Frame: Even though this E401 is the smallest dethatching machine in the Eliet range, it is capable of providing outstanding performance. The performance of this dethatching machine is often tested in many common applications, for example, when it is rented. Its robust construction is then also a guarantee for its durability. Vertical Belt Tension: Problem-free operation was the point of departure for developing the vertical belt tension. Thanks to this system, the belt retains its natural shape even when it is operating. This virtually eliminates wear on the belt, thus significantly extending its operating life.

Infinitely Variable Height Adjustment: The working depth is typically 2 mm. At this speed, virtually no braking is applied to the blades so that they can operate at full speed and lift up moss and thatch from the lawn surface. As the blades do not cut through the roots, this greatly reduces the time required by the lawn to recover after dethatching. Accurate and correct depth setting implies a very fine adjustable depth adjustment. To this end, the front wheels of the E 501 Pro feature an infinitely variable adjustment. This enables the same depth to be set across the entire blade shaft.

Rear Wheels Depth Adjustment: Eliet guarantees that the Permanently Sharp Blades™ are not worn down, even after operating for more than 100 hours. The depth adjustment on the front wheels is inadequate to fully wear down the entire length of the blade. The E750 therefore also has a rear wheels depth adjustment.

Eliet E450 Shredder with handle foldedAluminium Wheels: Work comfort means that you perform the work with a minimum of effort. In this respect, Eliet pamper the operator of the E501 PRO. Large wheels with light aluminium rims running on tyres with a supple natural rubber tread ensure that this machine glides across the lawn. Each wheel is equipped with two large-size ball bearings. These heavy duty wheels are able to withstand the dusty conditions in which these machines have to operate. The wide wheel tread minimizes the risk of wheel rut formation on wet lawns.

Wheels With Mud Scrapers: If dethatching takes place in the spring on a swampy lawn, the newly raked moss tends to stick to the wheels so that the machines move up and down when crossing the lawn, with this having a clearly visible effect on the result of the raking. To remedy, Eliet have fitted scrapers to the wheels of its professional dethatching machines. Any dirt that sticks to the wheels is immediately removed from the wheels.

Rubber Deflector: Although gardeners usually wear professional working clothing and protective footwear, Eliet do not take any risks when safety is involved. The wide rubber safety guard at the rear of the machine retains all dust, sand and any stones that are thrown up out of the ground by the blades. The deflector is suspended on a chain and passively obeys each steering command. Moreover, you can suspend the deflector at the correct height, according to the thickness of the moss layer that appears from underneath the dethatching machine.

Eliet E501

The powerful professional engines, the infinitely variable self-locking height adjustment and the large easy-roll wheels on double ball bearings will not escape your expert eye. The Eliet Permanently Sharp Blades™ are located underneath the frame and guarantee that your Eliet machine will continue to achieve the same efficiency. That is efficiency for you!

Eliet E501 scarifierRobust Frame: A dethatching machine combs every square centimetre of your lawn. When doing so, the machine will also bring some stones to the surface. For this reason, the robust frame will protect you against all of the dislodged dirt. Eliet will not take any risks in this respect and has, therefore, decided to use a 3 mm thick plate metal frame that is robot-welded to exacting standards.

Blade Choice: Whoever chooses the professional version of the E501 knows exactly what he wants. However, because you, as a professional user, have more stringent requirements, Eliet have also developed two other types of blades in addition to the standard fitted blades. In certain operating conditions, these other types of blades can enhance performance and promote high quality work. The choice is up to you!

Vertical Belt Tension: At Eliet, we do not use a conventional jockey pulley to disengage the blades, as these pulleys can be a sure source of trouble. Eliet have instead developed "Vertical Belt Tension". A lever linkage lifts the engine bedplate in order to tension the belt. This allows the tensioned belt to retain its natural shape, thus significantly improving belt life. The two belt pulleys only touch the inside of the belt so that the outside of the belt is not subject to wear. On a professional Eliet dethatching machine, a belt very seldom needs renewing.

Infinitely Variable Height Adjustment: The working depth is typically 2 mm. At this speed, virtually no braking is applied to the blades so that they can operate at full speed and lift up moss and thatch from the lawn surface. Eliet E501 scarifier in actionRear Wheels Depth Adjustment: The Eliet E501 Pro is equipped with a set of Permanently Sharp Blades™. These blades have a working life in excess of 100 hours. Regardless of whether you choose, fixed, oscillating or double cut blades, you still wish to completely use up the blades. Since the adjustment facilities on the front wheels are inadequate, Eliet have also provided depth adjustment at the rear.

Aluminium Wheels: Work comfort means that you perform the work with a minimum of effort. In this respect, Eliet pamper the operator of the E501 PRO. Large wheels with light aluminium rims running on tyres with a supple natural rubber tread ensure that this machine glides across the lawn. Each wheel is equipped with two large-size ball bearings. The deflector is suspended on a chain and passively obeys each steering command. Moreover, you can suspend the deflector at the correct height, according to the thickness of the moss layer that appears from underneath the dethatching machine.

Floating Handlebar: Gardeners are kept busy with dethatching work in the spring when the grass comes out of its winter hibernation. Attention has therefore been paid to all components that cause fatigue. The floating handlebar is one example of how optimal work comfort is ensured. This handlebar accurately follows any ground unevenness in order to neutralise arm pressure.

Eliet E600

Using the E600 Compactor provides at least three major time savings. Not only does the machine accelerate the dethatching process, it also does it more thoroughly and efficiently. As a garden contractor you thus save at least 50% of your time, which you can now spend on perfecting your planning or servicing other clients.

Eliet E600 CompactorRobust Frame: A dethatching machine combs every square centimetre of your lawn. When doing so, the machine will also bring some stones to the surface. To remedy, Eliet have fitted scrapers to the wheels of its professional dethatching machines. Any dirt that sticks to the wheels is immediately removed from the wheels.

Eliet E600 CompactorPatented Removal and Compaction Technique: The patented removal and compaction technique of the E600 scarifier provides the solution to the classic disadvantage of quickly filling collector units. By compressing the moss in the collector unit, the number of times the unit needs to be emptied is reduced. The blade system with integrated paddles does not throw the moss directly into the collector unit but instead deposits it into a funnel made of two counter-rotating conveyor belts. The brush effect and the extra throwing power of the blade system ensure that all moss is projected forcefully and deep into the machine-wide funnel. The counter-rotating belts transport the moss and push it deeper into the funnel, pressing it between the belts. This funnel ends in the collector unit and ejects the compressed moss into it. As the moss has already been compressed, it loses its voluminous structure, which means that the collector unit is filled with material, not air. The two conveyor belts keep pouring new waste into the unit, pushing the waste it already holds further to the back of the unit, allowing the unit to be filled to its maximum capacity. No back-flow of waste is possible, so the compression of the material in the collector unit increases as more material is poured in.

Blade Selection: Through more than 20 years of experience Eliet has developed three types of blades, each with their own specific characteristics. Therefore, it is important to choose the blades that best fit the type of lawn that you work on most often. The blade system of the E600 compactor is equipped with 36 Double-Cut™ blades, positioned very closely together. The name refers to the double number of blades over the operating width. These blades are thinner (thickness 1.5 mm) and set in a spiral. This configuration is very useful for golf courses and high-quality grass covers or ornamental lawns. The double cut blades are made from a harder base material. Although they are much thinner, they still keep their permanent points for at least 100 hours. This ensures intensive dethatching during each run with the E600 compactor, raking up a maximum volume of moss. The raked yield is further enhanced by the backward rotating blades. The machine is also equipped with self-sharpening, Permanently Sharp Blades™, providing a guaranteed yield at all times. Furthermore, the wheel drive on this scarifier ensures a constant forward speed: less tiresome for the operator and yet another timesaver!

Wheel Drive: In order to spare the operator the burden of pushing the machine forward, a roller drive has been installed on the E600 compactor. As a result, the machine rather than the operator mainly determines the operating speed, which again adds to a higher yield in m²/h.

Eliet E750

Eliet E750 scarifierWith an effective 75 cm dethatching width and a powerful 9 HP engine, you can dethatch large surfaces in next to no time with the Eliet E750. Thanks to the easyroll bearing wheels, the heavy machine, moreover, runs very lightly. Two parallel belts ensure that the power is transmitted smoothly to the blade shaft, without loss or slipping.

Robust Frame: The larger the machine and the more powerful an engine is, the more extreme the conditions in which the machine can be deployed. It is not for nothing that the E750 has an all welded frame manufactured from 3 mm sheet steel with additional reinforcement at the critical locations.

Blade Choice: In addition to the standard fixed blades for the Eliet dethatching machines, Eliet have also specially developed two other types of blades for the professional users. These oscillating blades and Double Cut™ blades also benefit from the exceptional characteristics of PSB™ technology. The choice is up to you!

Eliet E750 scarifierRear Wheels Depth Adjustment: Eliet guarantees that the Permanently Sharp Blades™ are not worn down, even after operating for more than 100 hours. The depth adjustment on the front wheels is inadequate to fully wear down the entire length of the blade. The E750 therefore also has a rear wheels depth adjustment.

Infinitely Variable Height Adjustment: Accurate depth adjustment is essential in order to minimise damage to the lawn and to prevent unnecessary wear on the blades. Each of the front wheels of the Eliet E 750 has an individual depth adjuster. This enables you to adjust to the depth of blades to within 1 mm, and to ensure that the entire blade shaft is in contact with the ground.

Aluminium Wheels: The large aluminium wheels on the E750 are manufactured to an extremely high quality. The 20 mm wheel axles are able to withstand a knock. Thanks to the double ball bearings on each wheel, you hardly notice that the machine travels over grass. The wide rubber wheel tread ensures that with this dethatching machine no, or hardly any, ruts or wheel marks will be left on the lawn.

Aerator / Topdresser

Eliet ecocureEliet Ecocure

The Eliet Ecocure combines 4 lawn care operations in one machine. These are, rolling, aerating, topdressing (sand, compost, lime) and brushing. The ecocure can be easily attached and pulled by a ride-on mower or a quad bike. This machine enables you to treat your lawn both efficiently and cheaply, whilst also having a low maintenance cost.

It is beneficial that the Eliet Ecocure rolls as this will level out any unevenness within your field or lawn. By aerating the area, it is less likely that sports players will become injured, whilst improving the drainage capacity and allowing roots to grow more freely. Topdressing allows you to change the soil composition in the top layer, restore nutrients and organic substances to your grass as well as adjust the acidity gradient. Finally, brushing allows the top dress materials to be immediately swept into the lawn.

Lawn Edge Cutters

KS300 PRO

Eliet KS300 PRO Lawn Edge CutterThe Eliet KS300 PRO not only has the largest edger blade (Ø 300 mm) currently on the market, but this machine is also particularly comfortable to work with. Thanks to the height adjustability to 7 different positions, the operator can always adjust the handlebar to the ideal height and give himself sufficient leg room. The purpose built rubber cover over the blade stops any stones being thrown up at the operator.

Robust welded frame so that any play in bolt fastenings is eliminated

300mm blade diameter provides greater active working depth, cleaner cut via higher blade speed as well as 20% longer blade life.

Vibration Damped Handlebar: The blade drive automatically engages as soon as the depth control is selected. The wide handlebar mounted dead man's handle is a passive protection device that prevents you from accidentally placing your hands near to the blade. The soft foam rubber covering the handles aids operator comfort while a vibration free handle makes it easy to work longer hours.

Adjustable Angle: The angle of the blades can also be adjusted. In addition to vertically, the machine can also cut at 25° and 45°.

Rubber Blade Guard + Belt Guard: The special shape protects the operator against mud and debris being thrown up. The rubber absorbs the impact of stones, which will reduce the noise level and increase safety. The free belt strand of the drive belt is covered to ensure safety.

Position Of The Front Axle: You can also use the ELIET edger to perfectly mow curves in creative lawns. To this end, the axle of the front wheel is aligned with the blade shaft. This means that the blade follows the curve that is made by the front wheel. The operator can thus follow the curves in the lawn much more accurately.

Large Easy Running High-Quality Wheels: ELIET have ensured that the operator can concentrate entirely on cutting the lawn edge without anything else distracting him. To this end, the lawn edger has been equipped with large wheels. Thanks to the large double ball bearings and the wide rubber tread, the machine is stable and runs exceptionally easily. The ball bearings are screened off and, therefore, they are relatively unsusceptible to the effects of sand and dust.

Ergonomic Height Adjustment: The special shape of the handlebar ensures that the operator walks at an angle behind the machine so that he does not damage the lawn edge by walking over it in order to steer his machine in the correct direction. With the 7 position adjustment, ELIET not only enable the handle to be set at the ergonomically correct height, but also provides plenty of leg room for walking.

Extra Lubrication Points: Pivots and guides are fitted with lubrication points to guarantee smooth operation in dusty situations.

Wheel Scraper: The rear wheels have wheel scrapers fitted. These keep the tread clean so that the machine is more stable producing a clean cut.

KS300 PRO HD

The HD (Heavy Duty) version of the KS300 is powered by the 5.5hp Honda GX160 Heavy Duty engine and has a 13 stage depth adjuster, maximum 110mm, plus a cutting head with a 70mm bearing and integrated belt pulley.

Edge Styler

Eliet Edge StylerIn 2009, Eliet launches a renewed version of their Edge Dresser, the Eliet Edge Styler. Eliet is the inventor of the edge dresser which has won the Bronze Spike Innovation Award at the International Agricultural show Agribex in 1996. The new design has to improve the user comfort and the design also aims to achieve a maximum manoeuvrability.

p>Wheel Drive: The machine has a wheel drive that pushes the moving knife forward. When the knife moves forward, the wheel traction helps increase the stabbing power. However, the resistance of the soil which the knife must penetrate will counter the stabbing, when the knife moves backward the wheel traction counteracts this, which creates a damping effect. In this way Eliet manages to counteract the vibration through the way the machine was built. In the machine's Pro model, an additional vibration damping system is integrated into the steering wheel. This also filters out the high-frequency vibrations.

Studded Wheels: A football player has studs on his shoes to provide a better grip on the field. The wheels of the Eliet Edge Styler were also equipped with rubber studs to have a better grip on the lawn, especially when it is wet. This offers the extra advantage that your terrace will not be damaged when you drive over it.

Knife Choice: This innovative machine was mainly designed to mechanize making lawn edges. The technique used is that of a stabbing knife. In this case, the knife makes horizontal stabbing motions where a small sod at the edge of the lawn is cut away and this creates a smooth edge that gets the shape of the knife. Depending on the type of knife that is used the machine can be deployed for a number of other applications:

U-Shaped Knife: cutting shallow trenches in a lawn to install irrigation systems or DC low-tension cables.

Angle Knife: for removing sods between hard paving and a lawn in order to recreate a space which prevents the paving from being overgrown.

Cable Driving Knife: to outline the work space for robot mowers a wire must be installed. Using a special knife and unwinding system, the Edge Styler can be used to bury a DC cable in the lawn without damaging it.

Golf Bunker Knife: allows for very high edges to be maintained, as is the case for bunkers on a golf course.

Variable Driving Speed: Because the speed with which one cuts a border, a trench or a cable slot depends on the kind of soil and the obstacles in the shallow subsoil, it is important to carefully balance the driving speed. That is why Eliet developed a compact two-step reduction gearbox which reduces the incoming rpms from 2800 r/min by no less than 54 times. Combined with a variomatic, the driving speed can then be continuously increased up to 30% with a single operating handle on the steering wheel. The large wheels are covered with a layer of rubber. The profile on the wheels is inspired by the studs on football shoes. Just like a football player, the Edge Styler also wants to have an optimal grip on the lawn to drive the stabbing knife. Especially in spring, when the lawns are somewhat wet, this profile is definitely an advantage. It avoids wheel slippage which prevents damage to the grass.

Environment Friendly: The Eliet Edge Styler has an engine with an integral reduction gearbox. This enables the torque to be increased approximately 6-fold. Consequently, the engine does not have to run at full throttle. 2,800 rpm is more than ample to provide enough power to the blade and the wheel drive. This characteristic improves the petrol consumption, and the operator also benefits from a reduced noise level.

Guide: If a lawn edge has collapsed or is partially destroyed, it is usually better to cut a new edge. In this case, it is recommended to mark out a new edge using a piece of string as a reference. You then use the handy guide at the front of the edge dresser to follow the path of the string.

Free Style Curves: These days landscaping allows for unlimited creativity. Lawns with straight corners were replaced by free-form lawns. The Edge Styler was designed to, in addition to the classic straight borders; also install those round shapes without any problem.

Two features in the design make this possible:

1.       The machine is designed to ride on two wheels. Two wheels provide perfect sideways stability but still allow for extreme manoeuvrability. The machine does in fact have three wheels, but the third wheel is a swivel wheel and doesn't impede the machine's manoeuvrability, but it was added to the design at a later stage to increase the operator's comfort.

2.       The knife moves at the level of the axle line of the two carrying wheels which insures that it seamlessly follows the wheels' tracks. This makes it easier for the operator to form the desired round shapes.

Pedal With Ratcheting Mechanism: The Eliet Edge Styler features a "ratcheting step pedal" on the lower right of the machine, allowing the operator to use the strong leg muscles to position the blade to the desired work position prior to inserting it into the soil. The release handle for the blade mechanism is on the left-side handle grip. Elevate the rear of the machine off the soil and squeeze the handle to release the blade control mechanism. Step on the pedal repeatedly until the blade has racheted to the desired work position. Then lower the rear-end of the machine and guide the blade into the soil. It is important that you rachet the blade to the correct work position before inserting it into the ground, so as not to unduly stress the blade racheting mechanism. This convenient blade control system is another example of Eliet's devotion to ergonomic excellence!

Low Vibration Level: Because the machine makes stabbing movements to create the lawn edges, this logically creates pulsating or jolting movements, which is unpleasant for the operator. Eliet's design is special because it ensures that these vibrations remain very limited. The technology behind this is a balancing act with weight distribution and the machine's mass delay. The machine's centre of gravity is very low because 30% of the total machine's weight is in the wheels. This means that the centre of gravity lies at the level of the knife guide. Because of this low centre of gravity the knife's stabbing pulses must be almost fully converted into linear movements of the machine's mass in order to transfer the vibrations. Because the full machine weighs almost 95 kg, the energy will take the easiest road and instead of moving the machine, the knife will cut through the soil. The knife has a stabbing frequency of 15 Hz. Because of the machine's mass sluggishness it cannot possibly take on this frequency, which has a damping effect. In addition, the machine has a wheel drive that pushes the moving knife forward.

Swivel Wheel: The machine is designed to ride on two wheels.

* The knife moves at the level of the axle line of the two carrying wheels which insures that it seamlessly follows the wheels' tracks. This makes it easier for the operator to form the desired round shapes. For cutting straight borders the swivel wheel can be locked in its straight position. This reduces the movability of the machine, which is not desirable for cutting straight borders. The guidance arrow on the side of the machine serves as a guideline if the operator laid out the border in advance using a tie line.

Adjustable Steering Wheel: The Eliet Edge Styler tries to offer the operator optimum comfort and ergonomics. As already noted, special care was taken to lower the vibration level for the operator. This avoids tiring the upper body when working long hours. In order to give the operator the ideal bearing during use, the height of the steering wheel can be adjusted continuously. Because the machine was also designed to maintain the edges of bunkers on golf courses, the steering wheel can also be adjusted sideways at an angle so that the operator can work in a comfortable position independent from the waves and slopes of the terrain.

Anti-Deviation Disk: When cutting a free lawn edge, the machine tends to drive itself away from the lawn edge because of the pressure on the wing when cutting off the sod. That is why the machine is equipped with an anti-deviation disk. This jagged disk can be lowered which causes the teeth to press into the soil when driving the machine. They act as an 'anchor', which prevents the machine from drifting sideways. This allows the operator to cut the lawn edges without interruptions.
