Fundraising with the Royal Warrant Holders’ Charity

Fundraising with the Royal Warrant Holders’ Charity.

It’s been a pleasure to donate to and fundraise for The Royal Warrant Holders’ Charity since 2018. Funds are then passed on in the form of grants to local charities nominated by Royal Warrant-holding companies or their employees.

Donating to small, local charities in which Warrant-holding companies or their employees are actively involved, the RWH Charity provides:

  1. Small grants of up to £500 for those charities where employees of Warrant-holding companies are fundraising.
  2. Medium grants of up to £3,000 for a specific item, activity or project for a charity in which the Warrant holding company or their employees are actively involved.

Grants have been given to charities across the UK, supporting a diverse range of worthy causes including St Georges Hospital Charity, Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity and our own local Aylesbury Foodbank.

Since 2013, over £550,000 has been granted to more than 240 charitable causes, and an estimated 70,000 people have been impacted by these grants.

“It has always been a privilege and a pleasure to supply the Royal Household, and that privilege and pleasure extends to supporting the RWH Charity too.

Through this fund, we were able to help pay for additional outdoor, waterproof Collection Points for Aylesbury Foodbank. These help not only to increase the overall volume of suppliers for those in need in our local area but will last for 10 years, making them a very worthwhile investment.

Great things happen when people work together to champion the environment and support nominated charities!”

In addition to raising money for the Charity, we have also been delighted to join other Royal Warrant-holding companies to help raise funds for a couple of very special commemorative projects celebrating significant Royal events.

In 2022, we collectively gifted a new Processional Cross to Her Majesty The Queen to mark the Platinum Jubilee. The cross was made by Royal Warrant-holding company, Thomas Lyte, from one of their designs chosen by Her Majesty.  The silver-gilt cross is made of 2.8 kilograms of sterling silver and mounted on a staff of oak from the Sandringham Estate.

In 2023, we collectively gifted a set of beautifully embossed prayer books in celebration of the Coronation, crafted by Warrant holders, for personal use by Their Majesties; together with a significant tree planting initiative in the UK’s four Capital cities, with additional tree planting in the publicly accessible parts of three Royal Estates.

“These gifts are amazing to be a part of as they demonstrate such a high level of craftsmanship developed within the UK and will be in use for so many years. Of course, the tree planting is also a very welcome initiative, literally breathing life into our cities and parklands and creating a healthier environment for all.”
