Terms and Conditions
Welcome to our website. By browsing and using this website and/or placing an order, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy, govern RT Machinery Ltd’s relationship with you in relation to this website.
The term RT Machinery or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is Chandos House, School Lane, Buckingham, MK18 1HD. Our company registration number is 5003780. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.
Disclaimer
Whilst we have made every effort to ensure that the content of this website is as accurate as possible, we do not guarantee the content will be free of errors. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any kind of loss or damage from action taken or reliance placed on information contained on the site.
Orders
Any order for goods placed by you, the buyer through our website shall be subject to these terms and conditions. All other terms and conditions expressed or implied by statute or otherwise are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under any applicable law or other statutory rights that may not be excluded. We must receive payment for the total price of the goods including VAT that you order before your order can be processed. Once your payment has been received by us, we will confirm that your order has been received by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your order form. Order acceptance and completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the dispatch to you of the goods ordered.
Shipping
RT Machinery Ltd delivery charges in Mainland UK excluding VAT are as follows:

We are very happy to deliver outside Mainland UK, but delivery costs will be quoted upon receipt of order. In most cases, the standard service on orders received before 4pm for delivery to addresses in Mainland UK is that the goods will be delivered within 5 working days, i.e. Monday to Friday inclusive (working days do not include weekends or National Bank holidays). In case of Bank Holidays please allow an extra 2 working days.
To ensure a next day delivery to an address in Mainland UK, you should ask for the next day option. Most deliveries are done by post or contracted carrier. Whole goods (Machines) are delivered by our own vehicle wherever possible. If you have any queries relating to the delivery of your order you can contact us on 01844 299 037 or by email.
Our delivery carriers are usually willing to leave items in a safe place if you are out. Please use the Comments Box at the checkout when ordering to specify a location, but note that we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to items as a result of being left unattended based on your instructions.
All the machinery we sell online is brand new, but before delivery it will have been built up and fully tested, being subject to a Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI). This means there may be traces of oil or fuel and very minor signs of use on your machine, and it may not be in its original box. Items are often also repackaged to ensure safe delivery. If you have any concerns about this, please do contact us.
You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction. If the box is damaged please sign for it, clearly stating ‘received damaged’.
Pricing
The prices shown are only applicable to purchases made via the RT Machinery Website. Prices in our store may vary to those shown on the website. Special offers and promotions advertised in the press or other media may be excluded unless specifically advertised as available online. All prices are correct at the time of display online and are exclusive of VAT. The only possible additional charges above the price quoted for the item is the VAT and a carriage charge. The VAT element of each purchase is detailed on the RT Machinery Ltd invoice. We regret we are not able to offer VAT exclusive pricing for deliveries to the Channel Islands.
In the unlikely event of an administrative error resulting in an incorrect price being displayed, we reserve the right to correct the price. In these circumstances, you will not be bound to continue with your purchase and will be asked to email us to confirm that you wish to proceed. Please note that the prices shown are the RT Machinery Ltd prices which may differ to the manufacturer’s retail price – this allows for commissioning, preparation and installation.
Guarantees
RT Machinery Ltd takes great care to ensure that all the products featured on this website are of high quality. As part of our commitment to quality, we provide a 1-year guarantee on all new products on this website provided that they have been maintained to manufacturers’ schedules using original parts and serviced by an approved dealer. However, in many cases, due to the exceptional quality of the products, the manufacturers will give much longer guarantees on their products. The guarantee period starts from the date of purchase and covers faults, which may occur due to faulty components or workmanship but excludes consumable items, fair wear and tear or defects caused by misuse. If a product is faulty and under guarantee, you should follow the procedures detailed below.
Returns + Refunds
At RT Machinery we aim to provide you with as much information as we can about each product so that you can make an informed purchasing decision. However, to give you additional confidence, we will allow you to return any item if it is not what you require within 14 days of receipt, as long as it has not been used and is returned in its original undamaged packaging with any original manufacturer’s seals or shrink-wrap in place, and if it was delivered on a pallet, it must be secured back onto that pallet. As machinery can be of a large value, the above statement does not apply to whole goods (machinery). Whole goods are non-returnable without prior approval and subject to RT Machinery discretion once delivered or collected.
All you need to do is to contact us on 01844 299 037 and we will discuss your request. If the return is agreed we will issue you with a Returns Code, explain our simple Returns Procedures and discuss with you the easiest and most convenient way for you to return the item(s) to us. You should then return the item(s) to us by the agreed method together with a completed Goods Return Form which will be sent to you. You will be under a duty to take reasonable care to see that returned goods are well packaged, so to avoid damage in transit. Unfortunately, we cannot accept proof of posting as confirmation of delivery. Upon receipt of the item(s), we will refund the full value of the item(s) subject to them being unused and in their original condition and packaging.
Faulty, Incorrect + Damaged Items
If the goods we deliver are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us following the Returns Procedures detailed above within 48 hours of receipt. If you notify a problem to us under this condition, our only obligation will be: To make good any shortage or non-delivery; To repair or replace any goods that are damaged or defective; or if repair or replacement of the goods is not possible, or the cost of repair or replacement is disproportionate in the circumstances, to give you a partial or full refund for the goods in question, depending on what is reasonable in the circumstances. Save as precluded by law, we will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage, or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) howsoever arising out of any problem you notify to us under this condition and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation.
Security
RT Machinery works in partnership with Stripe to ensure all information you give us during the order process is encrypted before transmission via the World Wide Web. If any other Internet user should intercept the communication they will only be able to see it in the encrypted form. Visit Stripe for more information.
Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that you provide for the purpose of processing your order or enquiry and evaluating our performance. Your name, address and telephone number will be provided to our courier to allow them to deliver your order. Where it is necessary to validate the warranty on your purchase we may complete and submit the registration details on your behalf. Typically this would involve supplying your name, address, telephone number and details of the equipment purchased to the manufacturer of the equipment or the manufacturer’s UK representative if the manufacturer is not UK based. For more information on this, please see our Privacy Policy. Except as already mentioned, we will not provide your personal details to others.

The company or its suppliers shall not be liable for incidental, consequential or special damages arising from, or as a result of, any electronic transmission or the accuracy of the information contained herein, even if the company has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Product and manufacturer names are used only for the purpose of identification.
Cancellation By Us
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:
● We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered.
● The product is no longer available due to manufacturers non-supply.
● We do not deliver to your area.
● One or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers.
If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment.

Governing Law
For the avoidance of doubt, the Contract will be deemed to have been concluded in the United Kingdom and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and you and RT Machinery Ltd will agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
