BRUSHCUTTERS
We have a fantastic range of Brushcutters and Rough Cutters for you to choose from!
Here at RT Machinery, we have been championing the “Etesia Attila” or ride-on brushcutter since their initial launch into the UK market by Etesia UK in 1996.
Etesia Attila professional brushcutters are designed to cope with the most difficult conditions. They are ideal for second homes, meadows, orchards, fallow land, verges and embankments. Very robust, but also extremely manoeuvrable, they guarantee unrivalled effectiveness in rough and tough conditions.
The first Etesia Attila 85 (AV85) launched in 1996.

The principles owe their success to well-proven cutter design used in agriculture for many years – a simple principle similar to a topper of getting material in and out of the deck without sapping power or blocking through clumping. This is achieved with a good open front deck access and an exit of material through a clock face pattern of three o clock through to seven o clock. A strong central bar blade turned by a large v belt pulley ensures its torque and power without the need for high rpm. The twin swing tip blades have a little give if needed and are easy to rotate for a new sharp edge or to remove for sharpening. Pop all this into a low centre of gravity chassis.

These basic principles remain the same from the original Etesia AV85’s and Orec Rabbits we first sold, to the powerful 4-wheel drive units that we sell from Iseki, Etesia, Billy Goat and Orec today that complement the range.
We have tried and tested most and firmly believe the build quality and capability of our Brushcutters give us an unequalled range and choice from stock. There is a quality feel to these units right down to the last nut and bolt and that’s important when you are relying on their strength to get you through difficult brash or across difficult, sloping terrain.

We believe in these products and as such offer you a minimum of a 24-month warranty on any new Brushcutter, with up to 36 months if they are serviced annually by a competent engineer with original parts. We will also help you identify the right machine for the job, demonstrate and deliver – with an installation – using our own team, straight to your door. “Seeing is believing” as they say, so take a look at our video clips or contact us to arrange to see one in action.

We also have a range of alternative Brushcutter type machines or Rough Cutters to compliment the Attila’s and Ride-on Brushcutters.
With the tough pedestrian tracked or wheeled Flail Mowers from Orec, the pedestrian Attila AH75 from Etesia and the Ventrac Tough Cut Mower, we probably have one of the best ranges you can see in one place. Add to that lot an armchair controlled remote Brushcutter on tracks from X Rot and we have a selection for any task!

Billy Goat Outback®
4WD Ride-on Brushcutter
Billygoat offers two Tough Cookies with their “Outback®” Ride-on Brushcutters. With a choice of 92cm – 36″ or 110cm 43″ working widths and powerful 26hp EFI petrol engines these machines qualify for our LO-CO2 rating – running on E10 Grade petrol with fuel economy at up to 25% over normal carburettor engines, they make the grade. Also, the large Donaldson® dual-stage industrial cyclonic air cleaner keeps the incoming air clean and extends the service interval by 4x when compared to a traditional panel-style air filter. In addition, a remote transmission oil cooler controls the transmission oil temperature even in the toughest conditions, reducing thermal oil breakdown for extended operating life of the system.
Both machines also have intuitive 4 wheel drive with a floating front axle pivot for great traction and rough terrain management. A full folding certified ROPS (Rollover protection system with a lap belt) allows slope work up to 22 degrees.

The Etesia Attila AK98X is the largest of the Attila range, offering powerful and extreme brushcutting in any condition thanks to its powerful new Kawasaki 24hp electric start engine.
The 4WD, heavy-treaded tyres, differential lock and low centre of gravity gives you greater stability on slopes up to 30°. This allows for greater flexibility in a wide variety of sites – long grass, weeds, bracken and brambles on woodland paths, orchards, verges and embankments.
Swing or fixed tip blades with a 98cm cutting height adjusted by a centralised lever with 8 working positions from 50mm-120mm plus transport mode enable this workhorse to cut through dense growth of up to 4.5cm diameter!
Etesia Attila SKD
Ride-on Brushcutter
The Etesia Attila SKD, the smallest ride-on brush cutter in the range, provides a compact machine capable of tackling dense vegetation. It’s also a very capable and cost effective method for slope and bank work, being approved to work on slopes up to 27 degrees with the factory dual wheel stability kit fitted. Dual tractive wheels give both extra traction as well as superior stability, ensuring the operator has control and faith in the most awkward and arduous of working conditions.
The SKD is ideal for wetlands and conservation areas too, and is also just as much at home on general grass cutting with a finish that allows it to cut lawns and meadows. It’s fitted with a deck made from mastershock, a manmade compound that’s strong and doesn’t rust to provide a longer life.
You can bank on Etesia when the going gets tough.
Etesia Attila AH75
Pedestrian Brushcutter
With built-in rugged reliability as standard, the Etesia AH75 pedestrian brushcutter has been designed to work in the toughest of conditions. Ease of operation and manoeuvrability ensure total efficiency and high output.
