A golf course or sports field, be it for football or athletics, is often heavily used and the grass requires extra tending and care. The maintenance can often be difficult, and the need for fertilising, watering and minute care can be both expensive and time-consuming.
An Automower® robotic mower works according to your schedule so as not to interfere, and cuts the grass every day or night, adding small, quick-composting clippings which don’t need collecting. These clippings serve as a constant source of natural fertiliser and moisture that strengthen and irrigate the grass, creating a greener and denser lawn.
Conventional cylinder mowers often create unwanted tracks and grass clumps, especially in wet conditions. Thanks to its low weight, Automower® creates no compaction and leaves no tracks, even in heavy rain.

AUTOMOWER® CLUB SOLUTION
Automower® Club Solution enables one single installation for an entire pitch, including football and rugby. It has been designed to work with Automower® 550, allowing two or three mowers to mow the area simultaneously with only a single boundary wire outside the playing surface. This eliminates the risk of a damaged boundary wire during turf treatment such as aeration or scarification. Automower® Club Solution also includes a higher cutting disc speed which improves performance on sports turf with high grass growth.

Besides creating outstanding turf at a lower cost, Automower® allows you to become more sustainable. The robotic mower offers fume-free operation and low energy consumption. By cutting the grass a little at a time, Automower® reduces moss growth and the need for chemicals, delivering a carpet-like finish at all times.
The premium cutting standard on semi-roughs has been highly appreciated by both players and greenkeepers around Europe for some years. Now, however, Husqvarna offers a kit that allows you to lower the cutting height to 10mm, providing the players at your golf course perfectly cut and nicely looking fairways at all times.

AUTOMOWER® EPOS
Mowing Without Physical Boundaries.
Automower® EPOS does not require boundary or guide wires to define the working area. The boundary wire is replaced by a virtual boundary and GPS ensures even area coverage as well as easy movement between designated work areas, even on paved surfaces. Precise area management can include different cutting heights for separate zones and also varying cutting schedules for each zone. Installations can also be easily changed by recreating the virtual boundary, and “stay out” zones can easily be set up. Virtual boundaries allow for trouble-free ground maintenance such as aeration.
SOLAR CHARGING
In partnership with Viva Energi, Husqvarna offers a sustainable and low impact solar charge solution designed to provide 100% green energy to power your Automower®. It removes the need for a 230V mains power supply to power your installation and charge station. Ideally suited when working in remote locations where a mains power supply is not available, or when you would prefer a 100% green solution. The solar energy is stored in a battery cell, allowing the Husqvarna Automower® to operate 24 hours a day during the cutting season.
