“It’s always great to continue a relationship over so many years and it’s been a real honour to replace this old classic. The new Iseki model follows nearly 40 years of service from the original and will serve the village well with its upgrades in power, hydrostatic transmission and versatile use, including the back-up of a fitted mid-mounted mower deck.”

Looking on and part of the selection process in identifying the best replacement are long-term servicer and carer of the original tractor, Geoff Phillips and the Recreation Ground Groundskeeper and skilful operator of the tractor in all its duties, David Griffiths.

“It has been a policy of the Parish Council to use a local company where possible. We’re very pleased to be able to work with RT Machinery on that basis, which we have done for many years and we look forward to continuing to work together.”

Well done all and here’s to another 40 years of great service and support to Steeple Claydon Parish Council and residents.
