Let’s Be Careful – Respect each other

Message Last Updated: Tuesday 15th March 2022.

Dear Customer

We’re delighted the Covid pandemic has improved to the stage that restrictions have been eased completely. While cases remain high, however, we are following a policy of respect between staff and customers, in order to protect everybody.

We are continuing to operate site visits, machinery viewing and on-site pick up by appointment and a strict code of cleanliness and sanitation of machines and deliveries.

Safety protocols remain in place to respect each other and to protect the business and we are also continuing to wear masks indoors whilst doors are closed.  Please do not be offended if we ask you to still wear masks when inside our buildings or store.

While you don’t need to wear a mask outside or in open buildings we do want to maintain a respectful distance to significantly reduce the infection risk.

Our Store Opening – Staying Alert, Doing it right, Safely.

We are open to the public as normal for pre-ordered collection, service booking repairs and pre arranged product viewings, drop offs or demonstration.

There are several initiatives still in place to ensure customers can visit us and shop safely, whilst colleagues remain protected.

Each department is limiting the number of customers at any one time, while clear signage and floor markers advise customers to keep two metres apart from themselves and our staff.

Additionally, perspex screens are still in place at the reception and service stations and colleagues on the shop floor are using PPE. Sanitising stations are installed for customer use and the stores can only accept approved account, card and contactless payments.

Home, Site or Business Delivery

We are pleased to continue to be able to offer a social distancing home or site delivery option for our customers.

We will conduct deliveries in line with guidelines and follow our disinfecting and safe handover procedures. We will require an open area to pull up, safely unload and deliver. Some products may not be available for home delivery where social distancing cannot be observed.

Click and Collect

We are operating a contactless Click and Collect service for our customers which will be operated outside of our store. We aim to have your order ready to collect within 8 working hours.

• You will be able to collect your order at the front entrance to our store in the customer car park area. Please ensure you have received your confirmation email or text to say your order is ready and bring your order reference with you when you collect your order.

• A colleague will meet you and provide your order, ensuring that social distancing is maintained.

Click and Collect orders can be placed online Monday – Saturday using our email info@rtmachinery.co.uk. Orders can be collected from our store in line with our opening hours and address on our home page www.rtmachinery.co.uk.

Servicing and Repairs

Our customer service and Repair team are open:

• Monday – Friday  08.00 – 17.00
• Saturday  8.30 – 12.30
• Please contact us via email: service@rtmachinery.co.uk

We are able to book site repairs and servicing as well as drop off and service, or collect and return, all conducted within guidelines and to a high standard of safety. Please note that masks must be worn if you will be coming inside the workshop.

Machinery Demonstration and Advice

We now offer a FREE virtual demonstration service. If we have the product you’re interested in we will run it up and do a walk round demonstration and talk through its features – if it’s possible to demonstrate we will do that for you too and email you a link so you can view your own personal demonstration.

If you require an on-site demonstration, please email sales@rtmachinery.co.uk and one of our team will then be in contact to arrange an appointment with one of our experienced Demonstration Consultants.

We are available 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am – 12.30pm on Saturday.

Very best regards,

Richard Taylor
