Pellenc is the world’s first manufacturer to offer a whole range of professional tools for parks and gardens, local authorities, golf courses, etc., which operate with very high capacity lithium-ion batteries. But don’t be fooled by high voltage claims; for a cordless tool, you really need volts and amps to work together for higher demand applications. You will need them both to flow at a similar rate and that is exactly what you get with Pellenc technology. Pellenc significantly leads the way when it comes to the volts/amps balancing act and boasts 43,6 volts and 35,2 amps. Having started in 2009 with a complete range of batteries able to undertake a full working day on a single charge, Pellenc have forged the move from domestic hand-held battery tools to professional, backpack, lithium-ion battery-powered tools.
Pellenc have tried and tested knowledge and understanding of what a true Professional user needs to undertake the move from Petrol to Battery Tools. This includes a warranty that gives peace of mind and confidence in equipment lasting the testing conditions of commercial use.
A commercial user requires a commercial warranty: since 2014 all Pellenc batteries and tools have had a 3-year commercial warranty in the UK.
UPGRADED 2020 WARRANTY
All new Pellenc batteries purchased from March 1st 2020 will carry a 4-year commercial warranty and 3-year commercial warranty on all Pellenc tools.
TERMS + CONDITIONS
1. All tools and batteries must be registered for warranty within 30 days of purchase.
2. The warranty covers any defects relating to the manufacturing process, or matters arising under normal usage.
3. The warranty does not cover misuse, abuse, accidental damage or matters relating to improper maintenance or storage.
4. The warranty does not cover damage relating to excessive exposure to water (old generation cells) or battery submergence (IP54 batteries).
5. Implementation of the warranty is subject to the use of certified original Pellenc parts when carrying out maintenance of the equipment and compliance with Pellenc’s maintenance recommendations.
6. All batteries and tools must have a yearly annual service/inspection by an authorised Pellenc dealer, which must include a battery download.
7. Certified original Pellenc parts should be used In order to extend the service life of your equipment and to safeguard the warranty for your tool.
TRANSPORTATION OF BATTERIES
New or Faulty Batteries MUST NOT be shipped by any 3rd party carrier without declaring the nature of the goods to the company involved in the transportation, as these are deemed as “hazardous goods” which require official documentation under EU and UK law. All batteries MUST be shipped in the original packaging.
